Good evening ,Ladies and Gentlemen

My name is pengxiaozhao .I come from bijiang primary school .It is exciting for me to talk with you about Asian Games together. As we all know the sixteenth Asian Games will be held in Guangzhou on November the twelfth,20xx.

As the capital city of Guangdong provine , Guangzhou is called “the Flower city ”because flowers grow all the year round , and it is also called “the Goat City ”because there is a story about the very old Guangzhou city.

Asian Games will be held in Guangzhou .So people all over the world will come to Guangzhou to watch the games .This will make the city busier and also make people know more about Guangzhou.

people in Guangzhou will try their best to learn English so that they can easily talk with foreigners. I think it is important to let people in other countries know our culture and customs?

I’m also going to learn English better ,to show that I’m a good student in this beautiful city!

Competition is a common phenomenon in our social life. We compete when we play games, we try to do better than others in our study, and there is constant competition for jobs, customers, money, and so forth. We can say, to some extent,competition is one of the motive forces of the development of society.

And we often find competition and cooperation at the same time. Think of a basketball game, each team is competing with the other team. But each member of the team is cooperating with his or her teammates. In most cases, we can't do competition without cooperation. Thus they are equally important.

While we are advocating competition, we can't forget cooperation. Nothing is to be carried to extremes. Pure and exclusive competition leads to failures. Competition together with cooperation help us a great deal in obtaining our goals and satisfying our needs, especially in modernizing our country.

It‘s my honor to have a speech here。 We all know that autumn is a harvest season；it brings us achievements and celebrations。 But this year is quite different。 We are welcoming the 60th birthday of our nation！

What proves the growth of our country？ What proves that our country is becoming stronger and stronger？ Of course，the changes，the avhievements。Now we can touch the pulse（脉搏，跳动） of the social progress，the changes of clothing，food，the living conditions and so on。 Once my grandma said that in the planned economy，everything has its own certificate，“New Dress” is only a desire and many children could only expect new clothes on Chinese New Year。 When my grandmother put on new clothes on New Year‘s Day， she would be quite satisfied and proud， because many children would come to a ……此处隐藏4238个字……y in the morning and skip along at the way home as the sun set.

We could experience changes through the four seasons of one year.

Spring is the season sowing seeds. It is pregnant with life and green.

春天是播种的季节，充满了生机和绿色。

In the Summer, colorful swimming suits frolick in the water happily.

夏天五颜六色的游泳衣在水里欢快地嬉戏。

Autumn is the harvest season , the paddy fields and trees are covered with golden color.

秋天是丰收的季节，金黄铺满了稻田洒满了枝头。

In the winter，We can have snow battle, playing to our hearts' content in the world of silvery white.

冬天我们打着雪仗，尽情地在银白色的世界里玩耍。

How fortunate we are because we can live on the earth!

We should cherish it, instead of polluting it, spoiling it or even destroying it.

If One day, it is really angry and stop rotation, that will have be a disaster for us human being.

如果有那么一天，它真的生了气停止了自转，那将是我们整个人类的巨大灾难。

So, let us protect our earth with our love, making it better and more harmonious.

所以，让我们大家用自己的爱来好好保护宇宙中这颗唯一的地球吧，使它更美好更合谐。

Three months ago,twenty six boys and four girls gathered together on the ground of the university

Of Geosciences,At that moment ,they formed the class numbered 111112.

Time passed by,and I conclude one idea in my mind.Well ,this idea doesn't only come from my unyielding

faith in the united spirit of the chinese people but it also comes from my own story.

I am an eighteen year-old boy who has never experienced being away from my parents for more than a month.At first,I thought I have to learn to be independent and I woulde have to overcome the difficulties with no one to depend on. But a story changed my mind.

Five days ago,I got a heavy cold.Recalling that day's event,I was in low condition and felt helpless in the bed,however,after knowing what had happened,one of classmates just say" I will accompany you along the way to the hospital and the way back to school."That single moment of his words may not mean much.But it is where we start,it is where we all form the common belief that your guys' shoulders will be ready for you whenever you are in need of help even though in the risky of falling behind in study.The class you are in will be your another family.

And there is also another story I would like to mention here,Our class ranked low in this month,but there are not blames,not critics,not anything like you should have done it better.We just say"We can,and we will do it better and better step after step."

Well, I think the two things just reflect one spirit which has seared into my heart that we may come from different places and we may have different stories and we may move in the different directions towards different futures.But we all would give the world to make our class shine.we are not only the sum of its parts that out of many,we are truly one.
